Steps to Successful Finishing of Your International Concepts Unfinished FurnitureStep 1:Choose a location that is well ventilated and allows for easy movement.Protect floor area with plastic or newspaperAssemble supplies
Step 2:Prepare Surface of wood by sanding lightly with the direction of the grain.
Step 3:Apply stain of your choice with brush or rag lightly wiping surface to remove excess stain. Let dry.
Step 4:Apply sealer with brush. Let dry. Lightly go over surface again with sand paper.
Step 5:Apply top coat. For added protection, sand lightly again and apply 2nd layer of top coat. Let dry.
