One(1) Year Limited Warranty
CHATHAM FURNITURE REPRODUCTIONS, INC. warranties its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one full year under normal and reasonable use.
Any part or piece found to be defective within one year of the date of purchase will be repaired or replaced solely at the discretion of CHATHAM FURNITURE REPRODUCTIONS, INC.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not, under any conditions, transferable. Furniture purchased “second hand” or in an “as is” condition is not covered under this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear and does not apply where the furniture has been subjected to customer neglect, abuse or improper care. This warranty gives you certain legal rights and you may have other rights which may vary from state to state.
Natural Maple Finish Characteristics
Natural finishes have special characteristics of which you should be aware. When a Natural finish is originally applied to solid maple, each piece is consistent in color; however, as fine maple wood ages, each piece will darken somewhat, in its own unique manner. Maple furniture finished in dark stains mask the aging process. With Natural maple finishes, exposure to direct sunlight may accentuate and can accelerate this light darkening process.
A stationary object on a top may leave a shadow of lighter wood when moved after a period of time. This is a normal occurrence with natural maple furniture and is not a manufacturing defect. After a period of time, subsequent to the removal of the object, the shadow generally disappears or blends in with the rest of the finish, but this cannot be guaranteed.
This better quality solid maple furniture is finished with our protective finish and is impervious to most normal household hazards.
We recommend you avoid using waxes, pastes or cleaning liquids on your furniture. Simply clean with a dampened soft cloth or a mild soap on a regular basis.
