This youth bedroom chest is built for high durability as well as good looks. The construction is poplar, overlaid with ash veneers. Each of the drawers has sturdy French dovetail joinery, with solid wood corner blocks for reinforcement. Metal guides with rollers keep the drawers running smoothly, and safety stops prevent them from being pulled from the case. The bottom of the case is dust-proofed.
