A solid wood slat system supports the mattress, helping to distribute weight evenly and reduce motion transfer. Beneath the platform are six deep storage drawers-- three on each side! They're just right for extra linens, clothing, books and more. They open with finger pulls instead of handles, preventing snagged linens and retaining the bed's clean look.
