The same grand effect as a standard secretary desk, in a scaled-down size to suit smaller areas. Though smaller in stature, this heirloom quality secretary desk lacks nothing in classic beauty and detail. The look is that of a fine antique, beginning with the arched, broken pediment and urn-and-flame finial crowning the hutch. Ornate polished brass hardware and curved feet are other decorative highlights. This drop front secretary desk is crafted from solid mahogany, with a hand-rubbed warm brown finish for rich, full lustre.
The secretary desk hutch has two locking glass doors, accented with wooden grills. Inside are two adjustable shelves with plate grooves. The hutch interior is lighted for enhanced display of collectibles.
Behind the locking drop lid of the secretary desk is plenty of organized storage, with pigeonholes, drawers and a carved door cabinet with columns. Below the drop lid are three drawers for general storage, each with an elegant serpentine front.
