Detail of Marble Top, Foliate Moulding and Crotch Mahogany Veneer

An accent piece to be treasured for generations-- this marble top credenza embodies the opulence and superior craftsmanship of the Old World. It is a truly heirloom-worthy piece, beginning with its full marble top and rare crotch mahogany veneer door fronts. Foliate moulding runs along the curved front of the credenza, and classic acanthus leaves grace the pilasters. At the credenza base is an attractive scalloped apron.

This Old World credenza makes a splendid dining room sideboard, or can be used as an accent chest for a large entryway or living room. There are four doors, with interior shelving for dining utensils or household storage. The two-door center cabinet is deep enough to accommodate larger items such as chafing dishes and serving platters.

Note: Crotch mahogany veneers are cut from the area where the limbs and tree trunk intersect, resulting in a rare, one-of-a-kind woodgrain design on each piece. The product image will not be an exact representation of the woodgrain. Due to the unique nature of wood, some degree of variation must be expected in color, texture and grain when finished.
