By using quarter cut veneer, the natural ripple of the mahogany grain picks up fiery "figured" highlights. Legacy Furniture used figured veneers on the drawer fronts and cathedral cuts on the door panels to provide dramatic contrasts within and between pieces. Legacy Classic Furniture is proud to inform you that this exotic mahogany is harvested in carefully managed forests in the West African nation of Gabon. Aucoumea mahogany is a renewable species and certified as environmentally sound. The rich burgundy finish enhances the veneer′s natural beauty, giving the Vintage Collection a dressed-up look similar to Henredon′s Ralph Lauren.

Vintage Collection Dining Room
The Vintage Dining Room Furniture Collection use of new Mahogany veneer on recognizable silhouettes (Queen Anne style chairs and tables), when combined with the classic leg carvings, created a new look in the dining room. Many people refer to the new Legacy Collection as a "Ralph Lauren, Polo" look. There are two beautiful tables available in the Vintage Collection by Legacy Classic Furniture, the
Leg Extension Table, is given a tassel carving above the knee and an inverted fluer de lis carving on the foot and these elegant accents are carried over to the legs of the matching chairs which features a Queen Anne splat back. The second table is the
Double Pedestal Extension Table which features two ornate carved hardwood pedestals that support this impressive Double Pedestal Extension Table. It also features a unique crescent carving that is carried over to the Harp Back chair.
