The Versailles Collection by Legacy Furniture captures the essence of the popular big and carved collections by featuring all of the elements that has defined this type of product (bombe shaped fronts and ends, larger scaling, hand finished accent tipping, and carvings) yet is created in a size to fit most consumers homes.
The carved ring and key hardware pulls with drapery carved back plates features an antique brass finish that complements the golden bronze tipped finish that accentuates all of the carvings of the collection. The Versailles collection finish is a lighter medium brown fruitwood tone that is a perfect marriage to the tipping color and a universal finish in that it will work with virtually any color combination in a consumers′ home. (The fruitwood color is very authentic to country French design.) The bedroom collection features a spectacular

Versailles Arched Mirror. The sleigh headboard features a heavily scaled and carved cap rail and rich cordovan brown stitched leather. The reversed curved footboard frames out a veneered panel with a decorative inlay and is edged by an egg and dart molding. Each of the pieces in the bedroom have bombe shaped fronts and ends, carved base rails and carved cabriole feet. There are acanthus leaf carvings on the pilasters, egg and dart carved under top moldings, and large step moldings that frame the drawers.
Versailles Dining Room Collection
The master dining room also offers distribution options with two great tables and two great chairs. The
leg extension table and the
Versailles Double Pedestal Dining Table are both 46x72x90x108". They are both extra wide and twelve inches longer than our normal Legacy tables. Both also feature serpentine shaped tops with carved solid wood aprons. The leg table features acanthus carvings on the apron, egg and dart carvings on the edge, and a large over-scaled carved cabriole leg. The pedestal table features a unique serpentine shape, has egg and dart carvings on its apron and top edge, and has carved column pedestals supported by three carved cabriole feet.
The two chairs offered provide options for consumers. The starting chair is the
splat back chair with acanthus carvings on the splat and the cabriole frame as well as the carved cabriole leg. It is a great marriage to the leg table. A step up chair is
the upholstered back chair which features a handsome taupe colored chenille fabric and Acanthus carving on the inside and outside back frame. Each of the chairs mentioned come in an arm chair version, the

The 67"
four door china & buffet has a sweeping shaped arched top crown and features Acanthus carvings on the crown, carvings on the pilasters and carved moldings on all of the doors. The china has a bombe shaped base with ample drawer storage, felt lined top drawers and bombe shaped doors in the center of the case. It is supported by carved cabriole feet and a carved base rail.
Finally, a
marble top sideboard with bombe shaping and door storage ends and drawer storage center offers a contemporary option for dining as an alternative to the buffet/hutch. It can be complemented with the rectangular bedroom mirror.
