I had purchased a similar sling shelf from Target but was very disappointed in that product. When I received this sling book shelf, I was very pleased. It assembled very easily and seems incredibly sturdy. It blends in well with my sons wooden furniture. It holds a lot of books. We have many different size books in the book shelf. The only problem is that you cannot see the very small books. But I see no way to remedy that unless a shelf is added underneath. My son (2yo) loves going up to the book shelf to select a book and I love that it is much more compact than a regular bookshelf.
